I owe you guy's all a great big thank's .I called The shop today and they had already recieved a phone call from there destributor on the matter. When I explained to him the importance to having the 04 they told me that the 03 and the 04 were pretty much the same except for the camo and the vibra dampener's .He was very agreeable with making the exchange for the 04 but I would unlikely see it till after the ATA show in March, but that's o.k. by me .I was a little reluctant on which year this bow was that I had recieved, but after talking to you guy's you reassured me that I was indeed holding onto the 2003.This is a very knowledgable bow shop and I have alway's enjoyed visiting this shop so I needed to get thing's straight before there were any hard feelings. Before I contacted this shop the situation had aready been corrected .No hard feeling's and I'm very happy once again. The 03 is a great bow and I know I would have been happy with it ,but it was the princable that mattered the most.I will be contacting BT and letting them know how I feel about there ethic's and they're customer relation's {The very best } I'll be shooting BT from now on .

nudo,

I am glad to hear that everything worked out for you! As far as differences go, the pivoting limb pockets are worth it along with the small refinements that have been made!

As far as Jeff, Pat, and Phil go, they are alright by me, but Matt......... that is a whole different story.... he had to get me addicted to these dang BowTechs and now it seems that I want about 5 different models

I'll tell you one thing, any of these guys would be welcome to sit at my camp-fire and chase those big bucks anytime they wanted

John,
If I helped in any way you are welcome.
Still surprised at your dealer's seeming lack of product knowledge?......trust me, the camo and Vibrablocks are the LEAST of the refinements for 2004.
The bow, even though using very similar ATA, Brace height, and speeds, basically everything on the bow has been redesigned from the bottom up and has many changes not found on the 2003 model.
In any event I am happy that you are happy!
Please keep us posted when the "Real" bow shows up.
When it does, take a good hard look at the 2004 next to the 2003......you will very quickly see that they are very different.
Then take one of the old 2003 Vibrablocks and bop your dealer in the head with it.

Yes guy's I'm rather surprised on his lack of knowledge as well but he pushs Hoyt and P.S.E as well as AR maybe that answers your question. I'm afraid I should be working for him or maybe not haha.Jeff I was sure that was what he said March. Maybe he's gonna make me wait for it .

I am glad to see that the situation was resolved successfully. I am sure this was probably on honest mistake though I, too, find it hard to believe that a shop would mistake an '03 for an '04 when they deal specifically in them.
