Default RE: FOC for 3D

Target arrows are a different animal than hunting arrows. FOC isn't nearly as critical as it is when shooting fixed blade heads. Penetration isn't even a consideration and, in fact, less is best. So, for 3D, shoot whichever setup gives you the best accuracy and flattest trajectory - with heaviest emphasis on accuracy.

Default RE: FOC for 3D

Navy, For 3D I like it to be around 9.5% - 12% The higher the FOC the better accuracy you will get in the wind. The arrow will not drift as much with the hight FOC. I usually get mine around 10% for best results. Also rember that the arrow spine is very important when playing with arrow lenghts and point weights. Junkie
