Agreed..the Scorpion is the nicest looking one out of the bunch. I'll check it out next week if I have time.

Champion seems to be using everyone elses names this year. They've got a Liberty, and now a Scorpion (PSE has a new Scorpion model for 2004).

It is indeed a nice bow Jeff, like I said in an earlier post, I've shot it twice now (different occasions)--and I'm a hair closer to ordering one. To be honest I'd really wanted to see the Diablo after reading the thread with the comparison on the Bow Tech Liberty, (now we have to use manufactures names also, as there's Liberties, Scorpions and Mustangs) all made by diferent manufactures!!
But when I saw the Scorpion and took them both into the range, I found the Scorpion to be a better bow for myself.
Of course I went there to shot the Liberty, 'Bow Tech' Liberty--and ended up looking at Champion Liberty with a ATA of 40"--not my style of bow. Champion has also introduced this year, the Wolverine that replaces the Hurricane/Spitfire, a short bow, 30"ATA--good for stalking--never got to try that one, as it was sold by the time I was done shooting the Diablo & Scorpion.
However, I think the Scorpion is to bow to look at this year if anyone is thinking about a Champion bow--has a 7" BH compared to the 7- 1/4 on the Diablo, indetical ATA on both bows, 35-5/8. But the riser on the Scorpion is almost twice the lenght of the riser on the Diablo. I never did take that measurement. I am still waiting to see the BT Liberty and the Hoyt Xtec and the Max Extreme--looks like I'll end up with a least two more bows shortly.
