Default General Arrow Question???

Hello Everyone:

I shoot a Mathews LX with a 29 inch draw. The Bow is maxed out at 70lbs. I am a bow hunter that does a considerable amount of indoor target archery as well. I was wondering if anyone can suggest a good all around arrow that I might consider. I was thinking the Easton A/C/C's in 3-60. I Usually shoot a 28 inch arrow. I currently shoot Carbon Impact 6500s and I am not that impressed with them. I will be starting my indoor archery 3d shoot next Thursday, so I am going to be getting these arrows pretty soon.

I was also wondering, for you target archers, do you shoot a longer arrow or shorter arrow.

I appreciate any and all help on this topic.

Thanks
Bill(WI)

Default RE: General Arrow Question???

I use ACCs for hunting. The only target shooting I do is related to hunting. My ACCs are well matched and the first shoots just like the last. I highly recommend them.

I shoot A/C/C 3-60 for hunting and for 3-D. They are a little bit on the pricey side but for me I feel that they are worth it. Mine are at 29.5 inches and I am generating 275 fps. out of an LX set at 66#. I do rather well at the 3-D range with them and they are ready to go for hunting. Just switch the tips and you are hunting with the same gear that you have been shooting all year.

Yep..A/C/Cs are as good as it gets

I'm experimenting with some Easton ST AXIS shafts and I am quite impressed but they still are not quite in the same league as an A/C/C
