Default Bodoodle's Zapper 400?

Has anyone looked at these rests, or tried them?

i bought one a few months back thinking it would be nice for hunting. the whole idea of not worrying about your arrow falling off sounded nice, and i had heard good things about bodoodles.

well...long story short, that rest got sent back within 2 days of getting it. i use a standard right helical fletch (3 4"ers) and there was no possible way for me to get them thru the rest without hitting a fin or 2.

i called bodoodle and they told me that was normal and not to worry about it. well...at least in my opinion, any contact like that is bad. maybe its just me.

if that doesnt bother you, then it may be the rest for you.

just my .02

Hi, I have one and it works very well for me. I use straight fletch with 2 degree offset and have no contact problems. Note they have two versions now, a 4 fin and a 3 fin, so you need to think ahead about how you would set up for your arrow and get the one that would best work for you. Also there is a another rest out there with a similar design using 3 fins called Stalkmaster. They are less expensive but should work just a well if you want a 3 fin design. Another consideration is the Bodoodle "loads" from the top, the Stalkmaster from the side. Both work, but you may have a preference for one or the other.

I use the Tiger Tuff sureshot AR1000 which is a 3 fin type and it works great for me. I get no loss of arrow speed and it keeps the arrow in position no matter which way I turn the bow. I also use 3" and 4" right helical vanes on Goldtips.
