Default New BOWTECH hush kit.....pretty good!

I got to shoot a Bowtech Liberty tonight and it was really quiet! The new hush kit (standard on their bows) did a really good job. It looks alot differant than the previous hush kit, but I think it works dramatically better also!

Good Luck!

So can you get an '04 without the hush kit ? I'm thinking about a Patriot but wouldn't want the hush kit !

Ahem.[:@]

Good to hear re: the new Hush kits Vaughn. I like the fact I can just pop in a peep, tie on my loop and shoot. Plus I don't have to shell out 12 bucks for pack of leeches, and 15 for regular limbsavers...as much as I like the leeches, I'm sick of replacing them. Hopefully these BT models will last pretty long.

CBM, I suspect you could order it without, but I doubt it would cost less. You can always just cut everything off.

They've been totally re designed this year. They silence better, don't slide and they last longer... I've got approx. 1000 shots on my 2003 Patriot that has them on it and they show no signs of wear (yet).

Also included on the 2004 bows are 2 factory installed cushion buttons for those that use them.

Regards, Pat

Ahem nothing. You probably got to play with some demo bows up at Flying arrow so don't give me no flack.....[:@]

My only complaint about the hush kit is that I had one of the string silencers fly off at one of the 3D shoots. I slid some eliminator buttons on later...but now it looks like I won't even have to worry about doing that....

Alas I wish that were true. Last time I was up there (2 weeks ago), no bows had showed up yet.

I was actually very close to them when I went to the PBR @ Mohegan Sun & met Pat. Unfortunately they were locked up in a van & not accessible at that time of day[:@]

I too recently had the opportunity to try a 2004 Pro 40 Single Cam with the new Hush kit next to several 2003 models and thought that the new system was much improved. It's nice to be able to shoot a bow with almost nothin' on it and have zero hand shock!
