Default pdq5oh - How's the Pro40 F-cam

pdq5oh-

I saw pic, but I want to know how she shoots!!! I took the plunge and ordered the Pro40 F-cam, I'm sure it is just as good as the Liberty but am interested in your thoughts.

DLE, I haven't gotten to shoot it allot yet. What I can tell you from initial impression is this. The draw is very smooth, as reported by others. The balance is very neutral. There is virtually no recoil or vibration, and they are extremely quiet. I shoot 60# bows but feel a 70# F cam would not be a problem for me. All the shooting I did, I was messing with the rest & sight. The couple of groups I shot were very satisfactory, given the first time shooting it. I let a couple of others shoot it and they were very impressed. The two things most commented on were how smooth, and how quiet. I hope to shoot it more this week, time permitting. I'll fill you in.

Indeed, this bow is sweet shootin . pdq5oh gave me the opportunity to shoot this bow the other day and I was inpressed. The bow had basically zero hand shock and a very smooth draw curve. The first group I shot was 20 yards and all arrows were touching. I even split one of pdq5oh's arrows[&:]. Sorry pdq50h. If I could shoot this bow this accurately when it wasn't even set up for me then I can only imagine after some practice. Bowtech definately makes sweet shootin bows .

Well, my dealer talked with his rep today and he is going to try and push my bow in with the other 3 he has on order so I should be getting my Pro40 w/ F-cam by the middle of next week, as along as the rep wasn't blowing smoke up my dealer's arse!

I also talked with a Bowtech rep and they said new limbs, cams, strings, & cable and I can have a Pro40 dually, uh I may have to do that because $750 is a lot to fork out for another bow!! But its only money!

fishon-

I'm getting a set of string and cables from Berry strings for $45 and I'm assuming probably $100 for the limbs and $100 for the cams so I'm looking at $250 in total.

I got to shoot both the Liberty and Pro 40 tonight. All I can say is Smooth and Quiet !! I just bought an 03 Extreme a month ago. Wish I would have waited.

fishon01-

I talked with one of techs at Bowtech and he told me they do not sell their cams separately. Seems they have had problems with them getting into the wrong hands. He did say that you could send them your bow and they'd do a swap for you for $250 but you don't get your old limbs & cams back, which didn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
