Default Darton (Falcon)

Can anyone tell me about a Darton (Falcon) compound bow? I just purshased one in a yardsale. I am not a bow hunter yet, but am learning. Just want to know if this is a good bow. Tag on the bow, Peak Weight of 47
Adjustment Range 40/55
Draw Length 4"

Any help, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jimchee

Default RE: Darton (Falcon)

Darton had several models of bows over the years that were called the Falcon. My guess from your description is that it is one of the older models. Many older bows shoot well enough to give you an idea whether you will enjoy shooting or not. Did the bow come with any arrows? It would probably be a good idea to take the bow to a local archery shop to get their ideas and suggestions for arrows or other accessories that you might need.
