Default shot an 04 Vipertec today

I was at a local shop with my dad today while he was getting his Xbow restrung. They had a Vipertec there. Now, I must say I' ve been wanting to shoot one, but havent had a chance. Well, I shot it today. I havent been a real big fan of the short ATA bows, but this one feels a lot different to me in what I shot of it. I think the longer riser makes it still feel very similar to my Cybertec in that way. Other than that, not even close. Very very little recoil, if any. The bow shot balanced well for me without a stabilizer. All it had mounted was a toxonics sight and a NAP 800 rest and nock point. I really like this bow. Plus the nice 7 1/2" brace height makes it even better. I think I' ll have one as soon as I can get rid of my Cybertec. Anyone isterested?

Default RE: shot an 04 Vipertec today

Based on my experiences with the Vipertec so far and, hopefully soon, with the new Mighty Might design I think alot of folks are going to notice that the balance on the short axle to axle length bows has improved much because the new longer riser/parallel limb designs tend to distribute the bow' s mass weight more towards the ends of the bow thus making it more difficult to cant.

That Vipertec sure is a sweet shooter, isn' t it.
