Welcome to the forums BH56. My screen name is somewhat misleading since I' ve not been a boy for about 45 years. I' m in south Texas. I' ve never even seen a deer during deer season. I think they stay home and watch the TV when I enter the woods.

Welcome to the forums, Bowhunter56! [8D] ....56, huh? Retired too. Hmmm..... I' m 42, so does that mean I can retire in 14 years? [&:]

The Bowhunting forum is great. A lot of guys have helped me with questions on my old reliable PSE compound bow and what are good arrows, my shooting form, etc... I just hope to bag a nice buck this season with it!

Welcome neighbor. I assume you have been hunting up around Stony/Clarks Creek?

I have been hitting the game lands down near Roundtop with no luck so far. I really need to make friends with some farmers

Nice to meet you and welcome to the forum. I think you will find alot of knowledgable and friendly folks here....as you can already tell. Though not as close to you geographically as some who have already posted I guess you could call me a " neighbor" as well...though a somewhat distant one at that.
