Here is an e-mail that I received from mathews. I told them that most people seemed not interested in shoot through risers,(at least on mathews bows, Easy hoyt shooters

. I also included that most seem to want to change the suppresors and roller guards. I expressed a desire to see mossy oak camo this year, and a more durable finish as well. For all you guys that want to see the MQ1 brought back, I voiced that opinion also. As for me, I' m still dreaming of that souped up q2xl. I keep mailing them to see if they will listen to mathews shooters. They should, since their customers pay their bills. Keep the ideas and suggestions coming, and I will keep sending them. Thanks.
The shoot through risers will be something new from Hoyt this year not us
but not new to the industry. As for the SS or roller guards I don' t know for
sure but I would bet that they are here to stay. The only reason people have
trouble with the roller guard is because of string and cable stretch which
they had on all their cable rod bows. The difference was the slide would
move forward as the brace height shrunk This would caused slower speeds and
also some jump when being drawn, this is also very noticeable if you had the
bow in damp conditions or if the surface became tacky on the cable rod. If
you watch for string and cable stretch to maintain proper bow specs you will
have less problems, better performance, more speed and less maintenance with
the roller guard system.
