Never had to buy a string for my jennings till now. I was looking my bow over and putting everything away when I saw that the string, on the end where it goes around the little stud on the cam, is frayed. Two strands appear to be broken so I assume its not safe to shoot. What' s the best string? Where can I get one? and how much should this thing cost me? It' s a used bow with Hatchet cams if that helps.
I purchased a string and cable from Wayne Newberry about three months ago. It is a work of art. I set my peep the first day and it has not moved since then. All the quality of a Winners Choice at half the price.

I am going to suggest Wolfden Bowstrings made by Jason Chapman. I have been doing some testing for Jason and his work is awesome!. He pre streches under high pressure, so that after 30 shots, there is no more stretch ( and peep rotation). Go to his site http://www.wolfdenbowstrings.com and give him a call. You will thank me!
