Default New Merlin " Vision" to be released

For those who would like a Merlin, but do not want to spend the big $$ for top of the line equipment, you may just want to take a peek here--

Introducing the new Merlin " Vision" !

ATA--39.75
Brace---7"
Machined riser
Rapid 2 cams
Pro fusion limbs
fixed limb pockets

Retail price will be between $450-$490. Far less than the $700 retail of a Max or $669 of a Quest, without losing craftsmanship and shootability. Unfortunately the Omega cams are not available for this price, but this gives archers the alternative of owning a Merlin for nearly the same price as most any other decent midrange bow on the market.

More info on finalized pricing and availability in the coming days.

Pic--

cool lookin' riser! Has more of a " fluid" look to it compared to some of the other Merlins.....

Will this be available in the full compliment of Merlin colors?

Pinwheel, when can you tell us a little more about the 33" ata bow? Really want to hear more about that one...

Any VFT going on with it or any of Merlin' s ' 04 line up?

Nice bow. I am seriously considering Merlin for my next bow. I' m going for the eccentric wheels this time around though.

Nice looking piece of equipment. I have to give Merlin kudos for how far they have come compared to the days when I carried around the early Storm model.

It is a great time of year...hunting seasons are here and the 04' s are about to come out.

I hear Hoyt is coming out with a new bow called the " X-Tech" . Something like 35.5" ATA, a 7 inch brace, and IBO of 310. My understanding is that one of the options is a wooden handle that fits over the riser. Sounds like a modified version of the UltraTech to me. I believe they may have something in the 31" ATA also. Doesn' t sound like they made any changes on the cams but anything is possible. It is hard to get anyone to " spill the beans" on these secrets.

Anyone have any other news on 04 models?

Rangeball-

The Visions' speeds are around 300fps with target modules, and 310fps with the turbo modules.

I cannot say much about the 33" bow just yet, but it will be a beauty. More on this bow later.

Antler Eater-

Yes, Merlin has come far in a short time, and will definately be taking some big strides here in the USA market over the next couple of years. (inside scoop)

Hoyt is coming out with a shoot-thru riser similar to the old York STO and the Alternative Exact and Kudalcek Genesis. The cam.5 will now be called the " cam.5 plus" . That' s about all I' ve heard. Good shooting, Pinwheel 12
