Default wax for inserts

I often read about people using wax on the threads of their broadheads so the won' t come loose. Has anyone used wax on the threads of their sights or rest?

Yes string wax works well for keeping the arrow points from coming out at 3D shoots.

I' ve used wax on every screw on my bow. It helps keep the threads from corroding and siezing up.

Wax works good......I' ve also used small amounts of my wife' s clear nail polish to lock down broadheads !! Small dabs work like a lightweight lock-tite !!

I can see some of you scent fanatic' s right now [] !!

No !! But I never put a lot on there !! It does hold well enough that I never....never worry about them coming loose !! It also works on bolts around the plant if we' re in a hurry and have no lock-tite !!
