Default Easton Alum. Arrow Going Away?

A dealer told my buddy that the XX78 arrows we use will be going away from eastons selection.

Has anybody else heard this?

Ditto what mordecia said! I doubt seriously they would be doing away with them. They have got to be a HUGE seller. Best arrow for the avg hunter that they have, IMO.

Go back next year, he' ll probably say they changed their mind...

Just got done making a long distance call to Easton. Asked about this and was told this was TOTALLY FALSE INFORMATION !
Expect Easton to reply to this topic and squash this before it hits the rumor mill .

Easton would never do away with the xx78. They might come up with something better, but I don' t think they' ll get rid of it. They even upgraded the old 6061 aluminum Gamegetters to XX75 material instead of getting rid of it. Glad they cleared that up.

Along those thoughts, could they improve on the xx78?? What are your thoughts on " how" they could improve it?

By selling X7s for the same price as the XX78s...

I don' t like those dinky little nocks they put on them. Those little boogers on a 2315 make it hard to shoot fingers. Those nocks are the main reason I still shoot XX75.

That would be a shame if it were true. The XX78 SS is the straightest arrow on the market.

I used the Super 3-D Nocks all the time on my 2514' s, shooting fingers. I love those nocks.
