Default The BLACK BEAST

After shooting my friends G-FORCE the other day,(and shooting it pretty well),I can' t stop thinking what it would be like useing the BLACK MAX 2.I was at the shop on Sat. and they had 1 on the rack. Not a big seller,my friend was telling me.Now,,,how come people love the LX(6 5/8" BH),not to mention the ULTRA 2(6 1/8" BH),,,but scoff at the BLACK BEAST with it' s 5 1/2" BH ???.Could that 1/2" to3/4" make THAT much of a differance ?.As long as your form is good, and your draw is CORRECT you won' t slash your wrist open.[]
What do you guys think ?.My friend takes one look at me drawing the BLACK MAX and says " naw,,,you don' t want that" .
THAT only makes me want to try it MORE !!!.[:-],,,am I sick ???[X(]

Only comment I can make is this. The shorter the brace height the less forgiving the bow is. If you can handle it, go for it

IMHO, 7" is juuust right.

I have a 6.75" bh that will bite me from time to time, a 7" bh that has never bit and a 7.25" that has yet to bite.
With that being said, I just bought an 8.25" b/h bow, so I can compare it to the others when I get it.

If you plan on hunting with that thing in NY be prepared for some string slap on the winter coat you will have to wear up there . A single cam bow with 80% letoff 5 1/2 inch brace height is going to be very critical of your form especialy if your 28 inchs or plus in draw length .
