Default GUys - Need some tuning help BAD

I went out and started paper tuning today because I adjusted my string (had some stretch) Now that I shot about 100-150 arrows I wanted to re-tune.

First - I have had the arrow / bow combination shooting bullet holes before.

I cannot get rid of a right tear (tail feathers right) I have the centershot moved over so far not I cant move it anymore and still a right tear.

Now - I know Im going to hear SPINE ... correct. But a right tear USUALLY indicates a STIFF spine.

I am shootingGold Tip 5575 XT' s

So I cranked the bow all the way down - The sticker says 70-80 pound draw though it doesnt feel like 80... anyway - no change... still a right tear. I put a 125 grain head on - same tear ( I usually use 100' s)

NOW I did convert my GKF rest to a fall away, but I was shooting 3" groups Sunday - at 40 yards ! But I cant paper tune it out.... I also shot a bare shaft with WILD results ........

I am stumped at the moment.......... Anyone wanna share some ideas to try... I am usually pretty good - real good about tuning.... and this is stumping me.

Eyeball the rest back to center. Then, beg, borrow or steal some 7595' s and try them. What I think is happening is the dropaway. IMO, you need a stiffer than normal arrow to work properly out of those things. The heart of that whole concept is to eliminate as much paradox as possible, and get the rest out of the way as soon as possible. An arrow that is marginal on spine will go nuts. I don' t know what your draw length or arrow length are, but I almost guarantee you' re underspined.

eight: are you left handed or right handed. Fletching might be hitting and causing some deflection. Might try some straight fletched veins or feathers and see what happens

Yep, I think the GoldTips are a little too underspined (for their advertised " range" .) I shoot 5575' s out of a 30" draw Mathews Maxcam. I' ve tuned down to around 58 lbs of draw on a 27" arrow!

I can shoot bare shafts within less than 1" of fletched ones out to 20 yards or so, though.
