Default Fletch patern for WB

Ok, I know this board is filled with wisker biscuit questions but I have yet another.

I think I saw the answer on a pervious post, but now I can not find the answer I am looking for.

????? What fletch patern is the most approiate for the WB?????

Straight, Helical or off set

depends entirely on the tune of the bow and what tip is screwed up front.

All mentioned configurations will pass through, helical will lose more fps than straight.

Best bet it to make sure the fletch is adequate for the job at hand, then live with the fps/wear you get from biscuit impact...

I asked this question because I am having a significant fish tail on my arrow.

Will the wrong pattern cause this?

I would suspect the biscuit not being the proper size or properly aligned is more of the problem then the type of fletching configuration...

Carolina archery says for best results use a 1 to 2 degree offset on your fletching for best results from the rest. I agree with range. You rest is most likely out of square with your string.

have you checked your arrow alignment? when i set up my biscuit, i had it mounted an inch or more off center from the string

If you are using the correct spine arrows for the bow and the rest is adjusted correctly and the bow is in tune you will be able to shoot straight, offset, helical, or Turbonocks through the whisker biscuit. Good luck hunting!
