From the limited info given, I get the impression it captures the shaft until launch, then rolls out of the way some how, but I am really grasping at straws...

I think we need to declare you the official " find the new gadget" guy of this forum. You seem to always find the newest (and usually most unconventional) gadgets on a weekly basis. Heck, I remember that funky looking rest that actually supported the arrow from above instead of below..and then there was that.....
In response to your question, no, I have not seen that one yet but I tend to agree with Jeff that if it were something special then we would have heard about it more by now.
I dunno Frank, maybe I' m just the first to find it and give it the exposure it needs. That hold the arrow from above rest is now in the Cabelas archery catalouge, and they didn' t even email me a thank you. But I am at the look around alot but don' t buy anything new stage, so who knows...
Hey Rack, here' s a new rest to try. Come on, you know you want to... It' s only $75...

Kinda looks like the arms rotate away from each other on the shot. Weird? yeah. Effective? Maybe. Solves problems a MZE or similar drop away doesn' t solve? Unlikely.

If I did buy it at only $75, It would be the cheapest rest I threw into my junk pile
I am done with rests................This week anyway

No, I have never seen that rest. It' s hard to tell how it works, but one thing is for sure, If someone can think it up someone will make it. (weather it works or not)
