Default My 6 year old Hoyt made me proud today...

I finally went to graphite arrows (Goldtip 55/75) with 100gn heads (bought a pack of Rocket Aerotips for cuttin time, " bacon cutter blades" lol) and despite my Hoyt Deviator Carbonite' s age it still spit em through the Wiskerbiscuit at 282fps (verified by a neat lil laser chrono that screws into the stabilizer socket). 70#s with the GTs at 27" . I was proud of the old gal and was actually considering retiring her this year after she done good and took a 131inch 8ptr in MO lastyear. Guess I should drag her up the trees one more season?

I woulda guessed mid 260s,
RA

Why not let her hunt? I still drag out a couple of 11 year old Hoyt Superslams and let them run once in awhile.

I shot my Hoyt Super Slam for ten years before passing it on and buying a Magna tec redline HO.Now I bought another Magna tec cam 1/2.I would still be using the Red line but a a damaged lower cam has put her to rest.Lifetime warranty and you can' t buy parts for them after 3 years[:@]
