Default What's my bow telling me?

To get the bow to bare shaft and paper tune, my nocking point is low (below 90 deg.). What's it trying to tell me?

Cam timing, improper arrow or rest setup?

Hoyt Alpha Elite. 27 1/2" draw, 54#, Easton Lightspeed 500, 25 3/4", 80 gr nibbs. If the rest is too 90 deg, then my bare shaft and paper tunes are way indicating the rest needs to go higher (making my nock below 90 deg.). If it's cam timing, then what cam do I want to adjust (advance or retard)? The timing is good now (both stops hit at the same time and creep tunes good). Arrows 1/2" longer show weak by paper and bare shaft tune. Likewise, arrows 1/2" shorter show too stiff. The bow shoots extremely well with this set up, but just curious what might need tweeking.

A guy can bare shaft, paper tune FP, paper tune BH till his head explodes. Re-set your nocking point and rest and put your BH on your arrows. Do a walk back tune (with your BH) from 20-40 or 20-50 if you can. Once you get that done re-set your sight for the yardages and you are good to go.

No. It's set up at 90 deg level. High tear.... fletched arrow about 2" above bare shaft arrow. That's telling me to lower my nocking point which will take it below 90 deg.

JNTURK... can't put BH on a target arrow.
