Default I' m 86ing the 02' s

I sick of twisting and worrying about the damn things. Seems like every time I look in the mirror my bottom cam is ahead. I always check cam sync, pulling back with a release. Its constantly off. Between the cables and string, I' ve twisted the bottom cable 5 times for a total of 3.5 twists, the top cable once for 1 twist, and the string once for 4.5 twists. My bottom cam is ahead again![:' (]

I had over a thousand shots on this bow before I touched a string. I' ve shot this bow so much, I need new strings already. It seems like a never ending twist and tune. When its set correctly, all factory specs are where they should be, and its busting nocks. Too bad it won' t stay there.

I' ve had enough. I' m going custom if I run into the guy at our club shoot this weekend.

Good Luck

I put another 1/2 twist in the lower cam and brung it around perfect. Shot a few warm up arrows, checked it again, then shot a round of spots. After the 60 arrows, I checked again, lower cam is ahead. Not enough for a half twist, but ahead just the same. [:' (] Am I just being too picky?

293/29 on the spots in case anyones wondering. X count sucked but what can I say, I only took 5 arrows.[:-]

Rack; I' m noticing some funk going on in that area too. Could be from pre-teflon MZE slide for me tho.

If you' ve got one cable creeping more than the other, that fast, it' s time to holler hidy-ho! That sucker' s gonna break. Time for new rigging.

Gee Nub talk about trials and tribulations.
I agree with Arthur seeing the bow is new I would be making a trip to the pro shop and putting in a warranty claim.
I have only twisted my cables up once on both my Pat Dually and Pro40 Dually.
They have not moved since maybe I just got lucky.
Both by bows are shot everyday so as to guess how many shot I have through either I dont know as it is more than I have fingers and toes so I cant count that high

Just got off the phone with the tech, new cable is in the mail. Told him I had quite a few shots on the bow, but it is less than a month old. " Lets be safe, I' ll send ya a new cable." [:-] Thank you very much.[8D]

Now then, I just can' t walk past this bow without taking her out back for a ride. Not only that I have a shoot tomorrow? And it is shooting " oh so fine" right now. I have leagues on Tues. night. I better stop, I' m bummin myself out. I' ll call my dealer and see if he' s coming up for the shoot and does he have a cable at the shop. Theres hope after all.

Nub, I switched to WC 3 weeks ago and can`t believe the quality. And 3 weeks of shooting and no creep at all.

Nub, I think it might be time to learn to make your own cables and strings, don' t you?? I really enjoy making my own, if it involves archery and saves me money, I' m happy. In the last 25 years I' ve never bought a new string or cable and I used to even make my own steel cables, even made my own custom swage block to swage the loops Anyway have fun and enjoy the ride

i hear you guys talk a lot about string " creep" , and how you are having to constantly twist your string to keep everything in sync, is this problem just on newer bows, like in the last year or so, because i shoot a 00 model fx and have just changed the string on it once and changed the cable this year and havent had any problems with the string, just wondering.
