Default whisker/fletching removal?

I have been having a little trouble with the vanes coming loose. I have glued a couple back down, but they came loose again. I am using a whisker biscuit, and am afraid something is not sitting right. It is " always" the cock feather, and I shoot with the cock feather out.

Does this mean I need to move the rest one way or the other? It was set up by people who know more about this than me, and said it was lined up with centershot.....

Thanks

Default RE: whisker/fletching removal?

First you need to trim one side of the rest per the instuctions on the carolina archery website. I also have found that the type of vane makes a big differnce. So much so that I use only arizona speedflight vanes with the WB rest. They are super tough and work well. They bond great to aluminium, but need a good bit more setup time to work with carbons. I also put a drop of glue on the front and back of each fletch to help hold them down.
