Default QAD drop away, on hoyt rampage...???

I bit the bullet and lost the biscuit, I conviced myself it was causing my shooting groups to be poor 30yrds +. Went to the local archery shop, got one set up on there. Didnt even have to move my sight, sucker was dead on, I cant aim at the same location now or my arrows hit. Resolved my wb issues instantly. They used the clip to attach the trigger cord, I went behind them and tied it down/ added serving so it wont slide (followed a guide on here). Now my questions. Is this rest "tuned"? Should I shoot threw paper? Should I use traceing powder on my arrows end and see if theres any contact on the rest? They installed this pretty quick, and didnt move my d loop. So I dont know how technical they got, said somthing about using a lazer? Is there any other tweaks or mods I need to do to the rest?
Tech notes: hoyt rampage xt, qad hdx, 58# draw, spott hogg sight, easton n-fused 400 arrows, 2" twister vanes
