Question bow string

I have a question for the string guys. I have an older bear buckmaster g2 bow that i want to replace the string, and i have the size at 85 7/8. Will an 86" string work just fine with an added twist at each end or would it then be too short. i have a brand new vapor trail string at 86" and would like to put it on if it will work. Thanks

If the new string is the correct material, you can add a couple of twists to get it to the correct length. I would suggest that you check the material out carefully. I don't know that bow, but it could need a fast flight string.

Yep...86 should work, just like he said above.
