Default Golden Eagle Evolution bow parts

I am new to bowhunting and recently bought a golden eagle evolution bow and found a part was broken. The part is a roller or rocker cant remember which, it is a small plastic piece underneath the limb. I cant find it at any shops because the bow is so old. Does anyone have this part or a parts bow or know where i can get it?
Thank you

Default Golden Eagle Evolution bow parts

I, like you, am new to bow hunting. I also bought a Golden Eagle evolution with a broken Pivot. (I have learned a lot about that brand in the last month). I have a neighbor who is a machinist and spoke to him about it. I had the bow disassembled by the bow mechanic and I took both of the pivots to him and he made me two new pivots out of Phenolic plastic and stainless steel dowel rods. I received them today and will take them to the bow shop when the replacement strings come in. Try to find a friend who is a machinist, it will help you in the long run. The new pivots will be an ounce or two heavier, but I believe that they will be stronger in the long run. Happy hunting.

Gonna be real tough finding any parts for that bow, unfortunately. You might be able to try what doorguy said....but unless you can get it done real cheap (like almost free) the bow isn't worth what it will cost.
You can buy a pretty nice, relatively new bow with better technology for very cheap...so I wouldn't spend much on the GE. Good luck.

What these guys said. Don't go spending a ton on it. Try posting on Archery Talk. With 200,000+ members somebody has to have something. I know they made more than two of those bows.

I have been bowhunting for 20+ years, and have hunting with the GE Evolution bow for the last 10....I love it!! I have had luck with parts from my local archery shop....if he does not have it, he can get it....it can be difficult to find parts, but once you find someone, make sure you stay with them....the GE Evolution is an older bow, but it is a great bow!! You will love it.....
