Default Fletching question

I'm wondering if there is or would be any disadvandage to having your fletching an inch to 3 inchs in front of the nock on an arrow 28"-29" long?

It's gonna whip on you; you won't get a straight trajectory. But you can try it on one shaft, anything is possible, but why would you want too??

about an inch in front of the nock is pretty standard. I've never seen arrows fletched 3" from the nock. I don't think the arrows would whip as previously stated. But it would change your %FOC
