Default Vanes question when using W/B rest

I have been using Elite plastifletch vanes with fastset gel with my w/b rest and haven' t had too much curling, but was wondering if there are any vanes that are stiffer and work well with this rest.

Arizona Plastifletch are good vanes, but I' ve always liked Bohning' s better. They seem to hold up better than anything out there.

Default RE: Vanes question when using W/B rest

Arizona has a new vane out now that they " recomend" for wisker Bisquits. I picked up some and they are indeed very very tough. They are exspensive though. I was getting some contact on one of my rests and becuase the vanes were so tough they didn' t really show any evidence. I had to go to the foot powder to actually find the contact. They don' t wrinkle or stretch either. The down side is they don' t " stick" like the original AZ vanes. On aluminum they did well, but you have to let them dry for a couple min. I just gave up on the carbons, but I am sure they may work for them as well, just need to find the right glue. Check out the Cabelas archery catalog and you will find them.
