All understood, and I did switch after 4 zebra in 2yrs to winner choice. After about 500 shots im noticing the same type of wear on the wc cable. I have had the cam replaced by mathews and now they are just saying cable wear and solo cam is normal being non specific on amount of time or shots before i notice wear.

Just my experience. I shoot a Tech29 for two years now. I haven' t seen any separation yet. I' m still shooting the factory WC string. I would average about 1000+ shots during this period.

Some singles are worse than others. Generally the shorter the bow the worse it is as the cable has more angle wrapping and unwrapping the track from the extreme pressure due to the cable guard.

I' ve had no serving separation probs w/ WC (on non-Bowtech models as well) or the Stone Mountain strings.

Jeff' s comment about the length of the bow increasing the cable angle and, subsequently cable serving wear is right on the money. The Patriot SC that I am currently shooting has not exhibited any serving separation though there is a flattening of the serving over the typical area.
