Default Bohning Lynx or Alpine Quiver, Need some Input

I need a new quiver for my Hoyt RazorTec. I am looking at either the Bohning 6 arrow or the Alpine 5 arrow. I know the Alpine is a bit heaver but it seems like it would be a bit quieter.

Any body have a problem getting their arrows out with the 2 rubber strips to secure the arrows?

I know alot of people use the Quikee, but I thought these 2 might be a little better, but I may be wrong.

Thanks Again

I have the Lynx and like it pretty well. For me, it also came down to these two. I have a very small AtA bow and the Lynx fit a little better on there. Just my preference. The Alpine seemed very nice, I just chose the Lynx. I' m happy with it, but you would do well with either IMO.

I was deciding between these two last year at this time. I chose the Lynx then. It is a decent quiver, but mostly made of a plastic material. It does seem to hold the arrows well, and is not noisy. I think there are better quivers out there, but it gets the job done. I usually take the quiver off when I am in my stand, but the bow shoots well and is not really any noisier when shooting with the quiver on.

Oddly enough, I am looking to get an Alpine Soft Lock for a shorter bow that I have this year. I think it is possible to slide the quiver up higher to protect the nock ends of the arrows better with the Alpine. I think you can angle it also which helps keep the nocks out of harm' s way. The only thing I didn' t like about the Alpine was that the shop demo that I tried was pretty stiff when I tried to remove the acutal quiver from the mounting part. It seemed like it would be difficult to remove the quiver (which I prefer to do) easily and quietly when in the tree stand. I still might get one anyway, to see if I like it better than the Bohning.

I also looked at the Kwickee, but it is very short, and the arrows have a long, unsupported length to vibrate at the nock/fletching end. I don' t know for sure that it would really be a problem though. They are a popular quiver, so there must be a reason.

JOE PA

When I was at the shop they had a used bow that had an Alpine quiver on and it was pretty easy to take off with one hand. Maybe the rubber loosens up after awhile.

i use the lynx for two reasons 1) the quick disconnect and 2) how it looks on my firestorm

I have an Alpine Soft-Loc 3 arrow, never had any problem removing it from the bow. I take it off after getting set-up in the stand. I like it better than any I' ve owned. There was an post several weeks ago where the quiver had came out while hunting and been lost, I' ve never had this problem, have had it over a year.
