Default Target Arrow?

I need to choose a target arrow but not sure what would be the best choice and would like your alls opinion. I would like to stay with aluminum but not against carbon for the right price and durability. I will be shooting a Hoyt Ultratec with versacam, 60 lbs, 28" draw, and sweet spot release. I would also like some differences in points and weights. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Chris

In my opion, I would use the same arrow to hunt with. That is to say the excat same kind. Same length everything.

Sorry I cut that one short. I was saying, once you find the type of arrows you need, shoot them all select the best ones for hunting and use the others for practice. But still shoot the hunting ones from time to time to ensure they are still good to go.

It depends on a lot of things, are you shooting 3-D, field rounds, 300 league. Do you want speed or forgiveness? How much do you want to spend?

Easton ACCs fast, light, good for 3-d usually about 140-150.oo per dozen

Easton X-7s aluminum forgiving good for indoor, reasonably priced

Easton X-10s superlight, superfast, tiny, and about 300.00 dozen[]

Easton Epics, light decent speed good hunting and all around shaft, about 75.00 dozen.

Hope I helped some

Since you are considering carbons, try the Carbon Express 150 with a heavy point such as 115 or 120gr and a shaft length of 28 or 28 1/4. I know this may sound like a heavy arrow but it will actually fly great. It is a little weak in spine but it groups very well and it acutally tightened my pin gaps. This arrow seems to like a weak spine.

Good shooting
