Default NAP Scorpion mechanical broadhead

Has anyone tested or used this new broadhead? What are your impressions? Thanks.

I' ve not shot it, but given that the ferule is aluminum and the problems reported with the snyper being made of aluminum and not standing up to impact, I' d seriously look at the Rocky iron head if considering this style of mechanical. Solid one piece steel construction, cut on impact tip, should be much stronger than the NAP...

I' ll be testing out the Scorpion this year. I have no fears whatsoever when it comes to trying out a NAP product![:-] The ferrule is the same as the thunderhead with the grooves in it and the cut on contact tip doesn' t extend past the ferrule tip as much as the snyper which should make it tougher.

To me, it does' nt look like that big a deal. The old Shock Waves have a fine tip. That little cutting tip does NOT look like it' s worth another $6 bucks for 3.

I plan on picking some up for testing. It looks like a basic shockwave with a new cut on contact tip. The shockwaves are excellent and I exspect the scorpion to be at least as good.

Good to hear that 5 shot. I am dying to know how they perform.
