Default Beaman arrows and fletching tape

I bought 6 Beaman ICS black hunter shafts. I fletched them with Marco vanes and fletch tape. I put a drop of Bondtite at each end of fletch. I also cleaned vanes and shafts with acetone. The tape stuck to the shafts but the vanes are falling off when shot. Am I doing something wrong. The shafts are really slick. I usually use Locktite super glue and haven' t had any problems but these are the first Beamans in black I' ve had. I like the ease of removing the tape when re-fletching but 3 days and the vanes are gone is a little soon[:@]. If I use Locktite glue, will the vanes bond to the shafts or do I need to break the surface with some steel wool. Any help would be appricated. Don

The Fletching tape is for feathers only. If you use it on vanes they will fall off. For feathers the tape works well, but for vanes I like the " super glue" style adhesives.

Thanks 5 shot, I fletched some traditional lites with feathers for my recurves and they worked great. I should have checked if the tape was compatable with vanes. Thanks for the info. Sometimes I jump before I check how deep the cavern is. Don
