Default Arrow Flight

Just wondering what your thoughts on arrow flight is during windy conditions. We all know that isn' t perfectly calm for each and every shot!
My question is will the wind effect a Slower heavier arrow more so than a Lighter faster arrow or visa-versa?

Default RE: Arrow Flight

For me, when using field tipped arrows, I have better luck in windy conditions with smaller diameter arrows. Usually, that translates into faster arrows too. I think the main thing that makes them a little better in windy conditions is the diameter though.

When talking broadhead tipped arrows....they can get out of control pretty quick! I limit my shooting distance on real windy hunting days to inside 20 yards.
