Currently I'm shooting Cabelas Stalker Extreme carbon arrows, the 55/70lb versions. I'm running low on these and I am planning on ordering some new arrows, and I want to make sure that these are in fact a good option for me to re-order. From the charts and info I have gathered over on Hunter's Friend, I think I should be shooting something with an actual spine deflection of .480-.520, if my arrows are 26" long and my pull is 50#. I can see on the chart however, that if I went up to a 53-55# pull, my spine could be a little stiffer, around .430-.470.
The Cabelas arrows I shoot now I hear are basically Beman ICS Hunters. On Beman's site, the ICS Hunter in a .400 spine weigh 8.4GPI, the Cabelas arrows I shoot weigh 8.4GPI. So, I think I am shooting basically .400 Bemans. Are these Cabelas arrows the best option for me? Thank you all for any input, doing my best to wade through the technical info.
At your specs you need a .500 spined arrow. The arrows you currently have are very stiff for your set up.

I would agree with a .500 ICS as well. I may even suggest cutting the arrow a little longer depending on what the arrow chart says. IDK cause I'm not looking at it.
