Default vaportrail string serving

I have two weeks before I'm off on a wild boar chase and I've been practicing hard. Last night I checked my bow and where the cables hit the stop, there's a gap between the serving thread and the serving looks worn.
I pushed the loops up, so the gap moved down to the end knot but I'm sure it will move again.
I don't want to redo the serving because that means retuning everything all over again.
Is there anything I can do to help prevent this from happening again. Or another serving material that can withstand the beating on my 82nd airborne ?

Unless I bust a serving, or its a serving issue in the center of the string, I leav it alone. When it starts to where bare string is hitting the cam, you just have to change em out. Depending on where the issue is, you could overserve it there with some .019" stuff or thinner. If its in the track of the cam, I wouldn't however.
