With the peep sight, I would like to be able to use, at least, two different aperture sizes. I have two solutions: One is to change the peep for a larger aperture during the hunting season or I am looking to buy the SUPER PEEP from Specialty Products.
I would like to obtain comments on this products. Does it affect the speed of the arrow, is it easy to interchange the apertures, etc...
I don"™t have the newer version that is ball shaped, mine is the previous style. I"™ve been very happy with the flexibility it has given me. On my open class bow, changes in lens power and the length of my sight bar, along with the different clarifier and aperture combinations offer me many different options to finding the best combination. I really feel the super peep helps me get the most out of my sighting system. The versatility should be exactly what you are looking for from the sounds of it. I used the housing only on a hunting set up and it worked great with an impact fixed pin sight. They lined up perfectly and the peep body is so thin it seemed to not block much if any light at all. I"™m not sure but I would think it wouldn"™t weigh more than most other non-plastic peeps.
