Default 5 pin Tru Glow????

Okay, so I learned a BIT LESSON last night. Don't tighten sight screws too tight on a aluminum housing!...
Needless to say....
I just bought a TRU-SITE XTREME SERIES (TOOL-LESS) 5 pin .019 pin sight.
Looks like a awesome sight and I can't wait to get it mounted this afternoon. question though, My last sight was a 3 pin.... with a 5 pin where do you start?
Do you just start with the first pin at 20? and move out 10 yards for each pin there after?

I bought the exact same sight last year and did the exact same thing you asked. I started at 20 yds then moved back 10 yds (20-60 yd pins). It really depends on your bow on where to start, if you have a fast enough bow that you can use the same pin for 10-30 yds then I would start from there. FYI, I really like my sight and the smaller pins makes a big difference on farther distance.

I am glad someone else feels Sunday is a bad day for me to hunt and this is why I can't hunt on Sundays.

I start at 23,28,33,38,43

I have no issues with a .019 pin with sight picture.

If you've got a fast enough bow I'd start at 20, then see how far you can shoot with minimal arrow drop. Most people use 10 yard increments though....it's a good place to start then you you can tweak to your preference. Good shooting!
