Default Paging bodoodle zapper rest users

Do you shoot off the string or use a loop?

If you shoot off the string, did you encounter any specific tuning problems?

Ok, here is one.
I orginally shot off the string and it was bad. I had all kinds of trouble tuning, also had a " ping" sound to it. I think you may have responded to my posts about this awhile back?

Anyway, I now shoot a string loop and all problems are gone. No ping, and the arrow flight is very good. I like this rest.

See, that' s what I' m afraid of. I' m currently shooting off the string with a Speed Nock, and love it. My release is adjusted as short as it can go, and I don' t want to change my anchor point, so to go to a loop would require me to drop my bow DL by 1/2" or so... Don' t really want to do that, as it' s already just a hair below 28" ... I could buy a Gator Jaw dual caliper release, but that' s more money, and my mongoose performs flawlessly...

I was gonna buy a Zapper, a gator jaw release, Magnus stingers and an alpine quiver, around $150 worth of crap, but truth be told, I only really need a quiver, not necessarily an alpine, because my ACC 349s are smaller than the GT 5500s I was using and they don' t fit...

Too many places for money to go to justify this, I think... Probably just get another JackPine quiver for $10 at Walmart.

For now, anyway
