Default setting trophy taker drop speed?

I need to speed up my shakey hunter just a little bit, do I shorten the cord or lengthen it. I assume I don't want to take much away?

Thanks
WV

You want your rest to be up fully within the last 3/4 inch to full inch of the draw cycle.

You do not want to shorten or lengthen the cord. It should just become taught when you reach full draw. If you put too much tension on the cord then you pull your bows cable forward and can screw up your nock travel and tuning.

If you want to speed up the drop of the rest then you will need to remove the launcher arm from the rest. There will be a spring that tensions and operates the launcher arm. If you look inside the rest you should see 2 or 3 holes that you can put the pig tail of the spring into. Insert the tail of the spring into the hole that would put the most tension on the spring and reassemble the launcher arm.
