Magnatec speed question.

Hello all.

I' m looking at a 2003 Magnatec with cam+.5

Wondering if someone could give me a ballpark figure on what to expect for speed out of this bow given:

29.5" draw length
70# draw weight
375 gr. Carbon Express CX 300' s (total wieght including tip)
release shooter
Nothing on string except for string loop (using a No-peep)

BTW, before anyone tries to talk me out of the Magnatec, I' ve already shot the bow and am comfortable with the feel of it.

Trying to get an increase over my current bow, that' s all.

Jim, I shoot a 2000 Magna-tec at 65#-29" draw using the same arrows as you, with 85 grain steelforce heads. It was between 278-280 fps on the chrono (slightly slower with vanes instead of feathers). I' m guessing the new bows with the cam & 1/2 will be even quicker. Hope that helps
