Default Octane Pro Brushes

I installed my new Hostage Pro rest last night. It came with two extra brushes. One is the same as the bottom brush currently installed and the other is longer and runs the full width of the rest. Why the longer brush? Does it not wear as quick? Are the improved bottom brushes the back ones or red?

I haven't shot it yet, but I will post my results after I get my bow re-strung this weekend and get her sighted back in.

im not entirely certain but i believe that the different brushes are for different sizes of arrow shafts. =)

No, you can move the brushes to different positions and those different positions move the brushes closer together or further apart to accomodate for arrow size.

I just keep shooting with the red brushes.
I have had my hostage pro on for over a year.
Only replaced the brushes once and I shoot 5 days a week.
Never had a big problem with them wearing out too quickly.
