Default RE: carbon vs carbon/allum.?

The difference in 9.1 and 9.5 GPI is only 12 grains on a 30" arrow so the difference is speed, KE, trajectory will not be noticible. In a hunting set up the difference in straightness won' t be noticible either. I use to buy arrows with at least .003 +/- straightness and I was always told that it would not make any difference for hunting. So I needed new arrows and was real short on money so I bought some GT hunters +/- .006 and they were right, I can see no flight difference between the two straightness factors.

One thing you might notice if you hit something hard is that the all carbon arrows are either straight or broke. The carbon / alluminum will bend. IMO puting the alluminum inside the carbon defeats the purpose of having a carbon arrow for hunting in the first place. You may as well have an all alluminum arrow and save the money.
