Another trick to compensate for shooting in a crosswind.
Most move the sight pin left or right to compensate for the wind. There is one problem with this. The mind wants to put that pin on the animal/target and you will unknowingly move the arm toward the aiming point.
A top pro archer showed me the better way. Most target sights and many hunting sights have bubble level on them. The technique is called "bubbling it over" and simply is tilting the top limb towards the wind where the bubble moves. You aim at the target/animal without moving the sight off this aimpoint. Just tilt the limb in the direction of the wind and shoot.
Try it. You'll be amazed.
