Default broadheads for beman ics camo hunter plus?????

I' m considering purchasing a set of beman ics camo hunter plus arrows. I' m wanting to shoot either 75 grain wask jack hammers or 85 grain spitfire. I' m shooting a martin panther with 29" draw and 70#. Does anybody have any experience with those arrows or broadheads or both? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been shooting the standard ICS Hunters for a couple of years now and am very pleased with these shafts. The camo versions are a bit heavier but are still a great shaft.

As far as your heads, you seem to be a little light for your tips. With a 75grn tip your FOC will be somewhere in the range of 7.4% (28" shaft). Which is on the lower end of the scale you want to be at (normally 7-18%). I might look into going with a slightly heavier head like a 100gr version which should push your FOC up to around 9.8% This will most likely give the arrow a bit more stable flight.

Not to say you can' t get good flight with a 7.4% FOC, just that is could pose some problems with getting tuned.

thanks for the info. I' ve been bowhunting for about 7 years now but not real serious. I' m going to try to do alot this year though and i want to get a good setup. Your information was very helpful and I forgot to calculate my FOC which means u probably saved me alot of tuning problems. Thanks again for the info.

There is insufficient information to be able to make ANY determination about FOC or performance characteristics.[]

With that bow and that poundage at 29" draw, this all equals serious speed to me. Make sure you stay with mechanical broadheads or your tuning could get real fun. Should we say, plane out of sight.
