Default Fred Bear Lights Out

Does anyone know of any recalls or problems with this bow? Just trying to have a heads up of what to expect. Let me know what you think!

I have one and its a great bow no doubt, it shoots as good as any bow that I have had and I have had at one time ot another them all. The only problem that I have seen and it is quite common with all of the Bears is the serving gets crushed and seperates badly where the cable hits the draw module. I called Bear and they said its common and not to worry as long as I keep it waxed it should be ok. It drives me crazy but I have shot the bow alot and it does not seem to be getting any worse, but im just afraid it will break the serving at some point. Other than that its a great bow.

Thats the only thing i have to complain about but im not. When i got it and sighted it in this summer ive probably put an arrow through it 300-350 times and it hasnt got worse. but when i saw it i was like oh ****. i dont want it snappin on me, especially since mine is cranked to 70 pounds. It hasnt gotten worse since it happened.. awesome bow though

I have the element, and my serving is doing the same thing. I dont understand what waxing the string has to do with the serving. You dont wax the serving, can you explain. I have heard this before but no one explained it.. Thanks Oh yea, as far as the lights out, it seems everyone that has one, liked it. At least what I have read

I love the bow and couldnt ask for anything more. It is awesome. By the way my serving hasn't worn anymore. I dont think it is a real problem. Congrats on the Lights Out. You won;t regret it. money well spent
