All you need is for one string to break while drawing to take away any desire to risk shooting one with broken strands.

Good advice!!!!!. Keep the old one for a spare, but mark it someway so you don' t think it' s a new one and use it for emergencies only.

Just curious. If you just bought a new SuperTec, why didn' t you have the Pro Shop install the peep for you?

In my shop everything is installed, the bow is tuned with the arrows, the archer is fitted and refitted, range time, one year unlimited warranty (except for strings and cables) by my staff to fix it at the shop rather than send anything back to the manufacturer; and, if it has to go back to the manufacturer for any reason, we pay the freight. That is, unless the archer wants to save a little money by installing themselves - most don' t and take advantage of our extensive service.

I' m just curious as to how other shops manage things.

Len, I sure wish we had that type of service down here. The so called pro shop in my area doesnt even know how to use a bow square. [X(]

ST03, Replace the string bud. Dont take a chance with a weakened string.
