Default popping drenalin

Im shooting a 2007 drenalin. 26 inch draw 65 pounds. wkisker bisquit and fuse 5 pin sight. I have started to notice when its amost ready to break over it has a definite popping noise. I have gone over the bow twice and tightened every screw there is. One problem it does have is it needs a new string as the serving is starting to separatebut really dont want to put one on in the middle of hunting season. YOUR THOUGHTS PLEASE

If you have string seperation I recomend changing the string, once you shoot it a bit the string will be all set. As for the popping sound, you may want to have your limb bolts greased or have your cam looked at. If you can have someone with you when you draw back have the other person listen for it and see if they can pinpoint where its coming from.

Look over your limbs real well also. You could have one splintering.

Is it a sharp cracking or does it feel like a popping noise?

A sharp crack is usually in the yoke bushings... a bit of muscle greese between them and the limbs.... poof... fixed.

Now, when you draw back... watch your bottom cam.... if that popping is your cam leaning into your cable and POPPING that cable into the track... then you are probably going to end up with a new limb and limb and limb pocket.... my drenalin was actually sent to me that way from the factory... just one of those things... usually though... if you are going to have that issue... you'll have it immediately and your dealer will have it fixed before he sells you the bow.

Its a sharp popping noise. I looked my limbs over really well this morning but could find no damage. Guess I should "bite the broadhead" and get the string replaced. Just sucks cause its tuned perfect and shooting darts. thanx all

Go to the Mathews forum. The noise is most likely coming from the two plastic pieces that your yoke cables attach to. There has been a lot of talk on mathews forum about that.
