Default Hoyt Vectrix

I have a Vectrix and my sting is touching my suppressor, is that correct or should there be a gap? Thanks and what is your thoughts on this bow?

The string should just barely touch the suppressor when the bow is not drawn. Not enough to cause any deflection in the string at all.
