Default Blazer Helix Jig?

I just did up a few arrows with this Helix jig from Bohning. I haven't gotten a chance to shoot them yet but was wondering if anyone had any experience with how they fly? They definately put an awesome helical on there -- way more than I could ever get with a bitz. Thanks Guys

Also: I want to give a big thanks and props to Bohning Archery. About a year ago I bought a Bohning Blazer Jig (thinking it was the jig that was going to put helical on). Well I hadn't really been having success with it and went back to the Bitz. Well I was reading on AT how everyone loves the Helix jig. So I get on Bohnings site and see that the jig I have is different. So I call Bohning and talk to a tech guy and he informs me that I bought the standard Blazer jig -- which they discontinued after a few months because of design flaws. So the man proceeded to send me out a new helix clamp and instructional DVD free of charge to me. Thanks Bohning; it's company's like yours and people like you that make this sport fun.

Hey FSUBIBMAC, any chance you could post a pic. of one of your arrows. I'd like to see just how much helix we're talking. I never thought it would matter on a Blazer sized fletch but might reconsider after reading your experience. I know with my Bitz helical it's not worth using my helical clamp so I just stick to a straight one with a 4 degree offset. Thanks!

I couldn't get the pics to upload on here cause apparently they are too big. Not real sure how to resize them. I uploaded them to photobucket: Links below. -- first pic -- bitz w/ 2 offset on left --- blazer helix on right

your gunna love the helix jug. Just got one bout a month ago and my groups have certainly tightened up.

Only down side i can see at all that it is slightly louder than standard offsets. are. Maybe this is because im shooting them at 330fps. slower speeds may not notice much difference.

Yeah im shooting at 325. But really who cares if the arrow is getting there that fast i doubt it makes much of a difference

Im a buckeye that also happens to be a nole fan. I've had this screen name since I was in like 8th grade -- i loved the noles then -- grew up and just kept using the name cause i can remember it and also am a buckeye fan now --- needless to say I HATE Tim Tebow with a passion --- same goes for Urban Meyer
